How I make extra money in my spare time
About 2 or 3 years ago I signed up (for free) with MySurvey, a popular consumer survey company. I've been taking the surveys they email me, usually 1-3 per week, and as a result I've made about $150 total. This may not seem like much, but it is a really easy and kinda fun way to have made $150.
The surveys are from companies asking your opinion on various products and services. They usually give you a short pre-qualifying survey to start out with, which gives you around 10 points, which equals 10 cents. If you qualify for the longer survey, you can take it and receive more like $2-10, depending on the length of the survey. The most I've received for one is $13.
Once you receive 1000 points you can have them mail you a $10 check, but I usually wait until I have about $30 to request a check. The check takes a few weeks to arrive, and I've never had a problem receiving or cashing one.
The surveys cover topics like cell phone service, internet usage, pet products, hair products, car maintenance, frozen snacks, etc. The surveys usually never come right out and say what company you're doing the survey for, but you can often tell. Like they will ask the question, "How likely is it you would purchase an iPhone within the next year?" or something similar.
