About Herbalcell

Hello, I'm Rachel Bell, and this is my website. Herbalcell is actually just an anagram of my name. My site is a place for me to share my hobbies and some articles on various topics.

I love video games. My favorites are the Legend of Zelda series. This is also where my favorite music comes from. I like to make my favorite video game music into sheet music, and learn to play some on my piano.

I also enjoy teaching myself 3D modeling and animation. I've been using Blender, a powerful free and open source program, for a few years.

I built and maintain my own website, and really enjoy web design and development. I have built up a pretty extensive knowledge of html and CSS over the years.

I like to draw and paint; both traditionally and digitally. Lately I've been into watercolor. I also like looking at other people's art. I tend toward the dark, mysterious, eerie, fantasy types that evoke strong feelings, whether it be a painting or photograph. I'm the sort of person who enjoys cloudy days more than sunny, so I love seeing cloudy skies and shadowy forests.

I'm in my last semester of college right now, and will be graduating May 2009 with my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I don't have as much time to update my site while I'm in school, unfortunately, but I do still try to make time for it.
